On 18 March, The United Kingdom advises people to avoid all unnecessary travel and asked people to stay away from restaurants and public events. A couple of days later, on the 23rd of March, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a complete lockdown and imposed fines for anyone still going outside for unneeded travel.
