New Zealand stepped up their fight against the corona crisis and is at the moment of writing, March 25, on level four of the lockdown. This means that no one is allowed to leave home, unless absolutely necessary. Gatherings of more than 3 people have been prohibited and all non-essential businesses have to shut down for the next four weeks.
Earlier on March 19, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced a complete ban on the entry of foreigners. Only citizens and permanent residents are since that moment allowed into the country.
The level four lockdown also means that funerals will be prohibited - as reported by NZHerald. New Zealand has reported over 150 cases now with over 90 deaths.
