Timeline and information

Israel imposed a complete travel ban on all foreigners from coming into the country. The government also closed all schools, universities, and cultural and recreational establishments.

People who would like to enter the country have to apply for special permits at the Foreign Ministry in advance. Self-quarantine of 14 days is required upon arrival.

On March 26, Israelian airline El Al announced they would suspend all their flights.

The government of Israel also imposed new measures to prevent the further spreading of the coronavirus in its country, limiting the movements of people and closing all schools and universities. Gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited until further notice.
