Fiji announced on March 20 that travelers coming from or who transited through high-risk corona countries, like the European Union and China, have to self-isolate for a period of 14 days.
People from other countries that do not show any signs of the Covid19-virus won't have to go into quarantine.
On March 26, Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama announced in Parliament a daily nationwide curfew between 10 pm and 5 am. He says the new measures were needed as people were ignoring warnings by the government to stay inside and maintain a social distance to other people.
It is not know until when these measures will stay in place.
