Egypt had shutdown all international air traffic on March 19 in an attempt to stop the coronavirus in the country. This new measure will be put into place until the end of March. All schools and universities in the country are closed.
On the same day, Egypt readdressed its citizens not to underestimate the COVID-19 coronavirus.
The country decided to close down all its archeological sites and museums, including the famous Valley of the Kings in Luxor. As all sites have been emptied from tourists, Egypt started to deep clean all hotels and tourist hotspots, as seen on footage obtained by U.S. News.
