Timeline and information

On March 19, Algeria has imposed new regulations, suspending all traffic over air and sea with Europe. The president of the North African nation also announced they will quarantine any case or suspects case of the COVID-19 coronavirus

A couple of days later, Algeria introduced a night curfew for the province of Blida, where most infections have been reported. Later extending this night measure to nine more provinces on March 27.

The night curfew prohibits everyone from the affected regions from going outside between 7 pm and 7 am.
